Chansa off to China
Orlando Pirates have confirmed that they have sold their Zambian international midfielder, Isaac Chansa, to a Chinese club- Henan Jianye FC!
Chansa was linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, among others, recently but the club has just confirmed on their official website that the player has been soldto Henan Jianye FC.
Lack of regular game time has been the player’s problem at Pirates, which lead to his desire to ply his trade elsewhere.
The Zambian international still had a season to run on his contract with the double-treble champions.
Henan Jianye, who finished 13th in the Chinese Super League last season, are the team that Chansa's international teammate, Chris Katongo, plays for. The move will also mean that he could be taking on the likes of Dider Drogba and Nicolas Anelka next season.
